Technician Analytical Development
As a Technician Analytical Development at HAL Allergy in Leiden, you are involved in the development, improvement, (pre-)validation and implementation of analytical methods. You will be part of a team of 15 technicians and scientists and be practically active in the laboratory, write scientific reports, and interact with other departments such as QC.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • You will work on development, improvement and qualification of biochemical and immunological methods.
  • Tech-transfer of new or improved methods to QC.
  • Perform biochemical and immunological methods such as potency assays, HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, protein determination, circular dichroism, fluorescence and immunoblot.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting with respect to analytical methods, and initiate improvements.
  • Ensure high-quality of the work and make sure that new and improved analytical methods comply with relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., GMP).
  • Report experimental results (verbal and written).
  • Support/maintain laboratory activities (e.g., chemicals, instruments).

Requirements
  • BSc degree in biochemistry and biology
  • Experience with biochemical and immunological methods such as potency assays, HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, protein determination, circular dichroism, fluorescence and immunoblot
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
  • Experience with tech transfer from development to QC
  • Familiar with quality systems such as GMP
