Supply Planner
As a Supply Planner, you play a key role in ensuring a reliable and efficient supply of products to our customers. You are responsible for developing, monitoring, and optimizing short and long-term production plans while balancing customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels.
Working closely with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and other internal stakeholders, you translate business needs into realistic planning scenarios and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and bottlenecks. You continuously seek improvements in processes, systems, and reporting to support operational excellence.
Your tasks
Supply Planning & System Management
- Develop and maintain short and long-term production plans.
- Monitor planning performance and proactively identify capacity constraints and supply risks.
- Translate portfolio and assortment changes into production planning requirements.
- Maintain planning data within ERP systems and support continuous system improvements.
- Act as a key user for planning-related systems, tools, or reporting solutions.
Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to maximize customer order fulfillment while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
- Monitor inventory risks, shortages, and surplus stock.
- Optimize inventory allocation and support efficient inventory utilization across the organization.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive initiatives that improve planning processes, systems, and performance.
- Ensure consistency and compliance within planning processes.
- Develop and maintain planning procedures, work instructions, and planning tools.
- Participate in operational and cross-functional improvement projects.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare, develop, and maintain planning and management reports.
- Collaborate proactively with internal stakeholders to define objectives, timelines, and actions.
- Communicate production plans effectively to manufacturing teams and align on capacity utilization.
- Identify and escalate potential issues in a timely manner while proposing practical solutions.
You have
- Bachelor's degree (HBO level or equivalent), preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of planning experience in a complex manufacturing environment; pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP systems and process optimization initiatives.
- APICS certification is considered an advantage.
